Remstal-Radweg
The landscape along the Rems is characterized by sunny vineyards, sparse forest areas, extensive orchards and an idyllic floodplain landscape. A freshly asphalted cycle path, which was renewed for the Remstal Garden Show 2019, is the ideal way to explore the scenic highlights along the river. Variety is guaranteed, as the route not only takes you through charming landscapes, but also through beautiful half-timbered towns. If you run out of breath along the way, you can change to the busy train line between Aalen and Stuttgart at any time.
A special architectural highlight are the 11 stations that were built with the support of the Verband Region Stuttgart for the Remstal Garden Show 2019: Architectural gems in the landscape that invite you to linger and take in the views. Attractive rest areas also include the Neckar beach in Remseck am Neckar, the Remsterrassen in Waiblingen and the rest area at Remsknie in Winterbach. There are also activity options such as the canoe route between Weinstadt and Waiblingen or the trend sports facility in Schorndorf.
