Voralbroute
Always with the striking escarpment of the Albtrauf in view, the Voralbroute runs for 27 kilometers in the southeast of the region. The 27-kilometre circular route connects the Filstal valley with the Alb foreland and is characterized by orchards and fields. Numerous designated bird sanctuaries bear witness to the high nature conservation importance of the area. Contrary to what the name might suggest, the route is very family-friendly, with gentle hills. There are also sections of the Way of St. James along the route. The spa town of Bad Boll is particularly well-known beyond the region.
