Tälesbahnradweg
The trail follows a former railroad line through the impressive Filstal valley with its steep and towering mountain flanks, some of which are lined with vertical cliffs. Juniper heaths, orchards, pastures for goats and sheep and extensive beech forests provide a change of scenery along the way. If you dare to take a detour away from the cycle path through the valley, you can enjoy breathtaking views along the wide plateaus on the Albtrauf. There are also two nature reserves along the route, the Hausener Wand and the Autal.
The Verband Region Stuttgart has supported the construction of sections of the Tälesbahnradweg with its co-financing program. Funding was also provided for the Garten an der Fils in Bad Ditzenbach, the Auendorf Hägenmarkpfad, the Gruibingen Bike Park and the Schwedengraben play and rest area in Wiesensteig.
