Landschaftserlebnisweg 's Äpple
The circular route through the Backnang Bay - the so-called Swabian Mostviertel - is characterized by orchards and the adjacent forest areas of the Swabian Forest. In addition to the many orchards, the Buchenbachtal nature reserve with its waterfalls and numerous historic hollow paths is one of the highlights of the route. As the name Halbhöhe suggests, there are plenty of opportunities to take in the views. A number of themed boards along the way provide hikers and cyclists with information and stories about orchards. Those who have had enough of apples at some point can also enjoy historic old towns, castles and cultural monuments.
The Verband Region Stuttgart has supported the Pfotschwiesen lake playground in Weissach and the SportErlebnisPark Allmersbach with its co-financing program.
