ART LOOP
The ART LOOP sculpture cycle path combines movement, contemporary art and the unique hilly landscape of the Stroh and Heckengäus over 35 kilometers. Along the ART LOOP, there are seven sculptures specially created for the cycle path by artists from the Baden-Württemberg Artists' Association to discover and marvel at. The works of art, which come into view in surprising ways and can be seen from different perspectives, offer an exciting interruption and invite you to linger. The interplay of art and nature makes this cultural landscape, which is also a habitat for rare animal and plant species, a new experience and has a special effect.
For cyclists, this is an exciting experience of art and nature, albeit with a few meters of elevation gain. If you don't have an auxiliary motor with you, you should at least pack enough stamina.
The Verband Region Stuttgart has supported the conception and implementation of this extraordinary project with its co-financing program.
